What a typical day looks like at The Step Up Inn…

Each day there is a mandatory morning meeting, which covers topics including: relapse prevention, money management, budgeting, life planning, resume building, employment preparation and volunteering.

Women are encouraged to volunteer at the community center or the homeless shelters

Combination of scheduled time and meditative time, which contributes to a healthy, balanced life. This can be achieved through the yoga program, as well as nurses and counselors.

Encouraged to be active members in Alcoholics Anonymous/ Narcotics Anonymous community programs.

Breathalyzers are administered three times per day, random drug screens occur at minimum, one time per week.

Each guest takes responsibility of a chore within the house, the more effort that is put into the home, the more pride residents feel within the home.
